Araak
Development and Investment
Distinct projects require distinct vision and
world-class real-estate requires exceptional
founders.
From this principle Araak for Development and
Investment (ADI) was founded, as a subsidiary
Construction Division of Araak Group.
ADI began construction works in 1970 with a vision of
combining prime locations, with distinct designs
and world-class construction; in order to
provide our clients with more than just a home….
Its astounding aptitude to outdo, overturn,
surpass, and capsize the competition was
conspicuously staggering from the beginning.
That in turn has lent itself to excellence and
in the year 2004, ADI rallied to transform the
first district of
70,000 square meter plot of land at the
confluence of the city and the suburbs into a
modern multi-purpose recreational and
residential city. A city artfully erected by
modernism and novelty.
Other Projects
Araak has undertaken
many major projects in the past including Ibni
Sina Hospital in the heart of Khartoum’s upper
scale Amarat district. It was the first company
to introduce the concept of residential
compounds to Sudan when it constructed the first
residential complex in the highly reputable
Garden City district of the capital during the
1970s. The company’s works extend to many other
projects across Khartoum, including works in the
Hilton Hotel Pool side extension, Afriqiyah
University, construction of a majority of the
Textile Factories across the Al-Jazira
region,
and construction of all of Araak Group’s
internal projects such as Wheata Flour Mills,
Araak Engineering and lately the largest new
Soft Drinks Manufacturing Plant.
Construction Techniques
The company had foreseen the major growth
currently taking place in the construction
industry and proceeded by investing in and
expanding its operations in order to provide an
unparalleled level of service. This division of
Araak Group is facilitated with the most
advanced and unique construction solutions.
